How do I book a car with Apex Rentals?
Choose a vehicle, then send a booking request with your dates and contact information. We contact you by text or email to confirm availability and price.
How long can I rent a vehicle?
Vehicles are rented by the day, week or month.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible. In high season (May to September) and during the Grand Prix, the most requested vehicles are booked several weeks in advance.
Can I book a specific model?
Yes. Each request is for a specific vehicle; we confirm its availability on the requested dates.
Can I extend my rental?
Contact us before the scheduled end of the rental. An extension depends on the vehicle's availability.
How do I cancel or change a booking?
Contact us as soon as possible. The terms for changes and cancellations are specified at confirmation.
Driver and documents
Do I need a valid driver's licence?
Yes. The driver must present a valid driver's licence. Any other documents required are specified at confirmation.
What is the minimum age to rent?
The minimum age depends on the vehicle. It is specified when the booking is confirmed; include the driver's age in your request.
Can I rent with a foreign driver's licence?
Mention it in your request. The documents accepted for a licence issued outside Quebec are specified at confirmation.
Can I add a second driver?
Mention it in the message of your request. Whether a driver can be added is confirmed with you.
Price, payment and insurance
Are prices displayed?
No. The price depends on the vehicle, the dates and the rental period; it is provided to you when your request is confirmed. We have vehicles for every budget.
Is there a security deposit?
The deposit amount and the accepted payment method are specified when the booking is confirmed.
Is insurance included?
The insurance terms are specified at confirmation. Also check what your auto insurance policy and your credit card cover.
Are taxes included in the price?
The price confirmed before booking specifies the applicable taxes (GST and QST).
Using the vehicle
What are the rental conditions?
The minimum age, security deposit, insurance and included kilometres are specified when the booking is confirmed.
Do the vehicles have an automatic transmission?
Yes. All our vehicles have an automatic transmission.
Can I take the vehicle outside Quebec?
Include your destination in your request (Ontario, the United States or elsewhere). Permitted travel is confirmed with you.
Are the vehicles equipped for winter?
In Quebec, winter tires are mandatory from December 1 to March 15. For winter, all-wheel-drive models such as the Audi quattro models or the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 are recommended.
Vehicle handover
Where is the vehicle handed over?
The handover location and time are agreed upon with you at confirmation, in Montreal or elsewhere in Greater Montreal.

Do you deliver to Montreal-Trudeau Airport?
Mention it in your request. The handover location and time are agreed upon with you at confirmation.
Occasions
Can I rent a car for a wedding or a prom?
Yes. Weddings, proms, photo shoots and events are among the most frequent requests. Book early in high season.
Do you rent for film shoots or photo shoots?
Yes, subject to availability. Describe the project in your request.
Can I book several vehicles for the same event?
Yes, depending on availability on the requested dates. List the vehicles you want in your message.
