The Eastern Townships offer rolling roads, lakes and villages, about an hour and a half from Montreal via Highway 10.
The itinerary
Take Highway 10 East to Magog and Lake Memphremagog. Continue toward North Hatley and Lake Massawippi. On the way back, take the Brome-Missisquoi wine route, between Dunham and Sutton.
Tips
Leave early to enjoy the secondary roads before the traffic. The vineyards are mainly open to visitors from May to October. Respect the speed limits, which are often lower in the villages.
