The Laurentians by luxury car: an itinerary from Montreal

Saint-Sauveur, Val-David, Mont-Tremblant: a one-day or weekend itinerary in the Laurentians, and the right vehicle for the season.

About an hour north of Montreal, the Laurentians are the easiest destination for a luxury car outing.

The itinerary

Take Highway 15 North to Saint-Sauveur, then continue on Route 117 toward Sainte-Adèle and Val-David. Mont-Tremblant is about 130 km from Montreal. On the way back, the secondary roads around Lac des Sables and Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts offer beautiful curves.

When to go

Fall, from late September to mid-October, is the season of fall colours. Summer is ideal for sports cars. In winter, choose an all-wheel-drive vehicle.

Which vehicle to choose

In summer, a BMW M3 Competition or an Audi S5 Sportback. In winter or with several passengers, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC or the Audi S8 quattro.
